The longer story
I've been at Bayer since 2011 and on Sitecore web projects since 2017. My first role was technical product owner for BayerNet, the company's global intranet portal, which launched on Sitecore 7. From there I led the upgrades to Sitecore 8 and Sitecore 10, and the move from on-premise to cloud.
Today I lead the unit responsible for Bayer's corporate web estate and the intranet — including the project moving us to SitecoreAI. The work is part architecture, part product management, part keeping a large estate moving in one direction at sensible speed.
In 2024, Bayer won the Ultimate Sitecore Experience Award for Best Experience Transformation for BayerNet, together with our partner TCS. Over the last two years I've spoken about the work at several Sitecore community events.
Outside work I ride motorcycles, ski, and spend time with my family.
